Hello, welcome!
I am a fashion design major at the university of cincinnati's daap program. as a kid with chronic health issues, I had to quit normal childhood activities like soccor and gymnastics, so my grandmas best friend taught me how to sew and from then on, i was hooked. i spent elementary-high school interning in costume shops at local theaters, and eventually working professionally as a costumer.
I decided to go into fashion design because i love the way clothing can not only tell others about us without ever having to say a word, and how clothing can transform how we feel, acting as modern day armor. I am passionate about creating adaptive clothing to make the experience of getting dressed and wearing clothes more accessible for disabled individuals and making women feel strong whithout having to compromise their femininity.
